It's all about Our Mithila Art Foundation

Founded in 2009, in Bihar, the center of the ancient Indian Mithila Painting tradition, the Mithila Art Institute focuses on developing the artistic skills of the next generation of Mithila painters. Using a rigorous curriculum the Institute both teaches the students the centuries old conventions, imaginary and techniques of the tradition, and encourages them to explore and express their own experience and concerns through their paintings.
